NJSIAA Disqualification Procedure

NJSIAA guidelines mandate that officials report each disqualification to the Athletic Director in person or via phone by noon of the next day. Failure of an official to follow the prescribed procedure in reporting the disqualification does not void the penalty.

  • Notify the AD of the School of the disqualified player by Noon the day after the disqualification.
  • A written report on the NJSIAA Disqualification Form (no other form will be accepted) must be forwarded to the offending school’s Principal by the official by Noon the day after the disqualification.
  • A copy of the this report must also be forwarded to the NJILOA Secretary Treasurer and the NJSIAA Central Office.”

    • Please take your time when writing your report. A well written, detailed report ads merit to your disqualification and avoids controversy down the line.
