2010 NJILOA Cadet Information:
Eligibility requirements and NJILOA expectations:
· Must be at least 18 years of age and currently out of high school.
· Cadet training is intended to train adults interested in officiating HS boys lacrosse.
· Cadets must be available during the Spring HS season to officiate HS boy’s lacrosse games.
· Cadet training is intended to train adults interested in officiating HS boys lacrosse
Must show (mile run) and provide verification (doctor’s verification) of fitness to officiate HS boys lacrosse
· All cadets must attend two years
of NJILOA administered cadet instrcution,and pass a written exam.
Upon successful completion of the instruction and exam, cadet officials
are obligated to provide availability to the NJILOA for HS boys lacrosse games and must provide at least five evaluations to the NJILOA Evaluations Chairperson.
In order to keep your NJILOA Official’s certification
up to date and remain an active, NJILOA member in good standing, each year every official must: attend a mandatory rule interpretation meeting, at least three meetings and one clinic, pass a
written exam, pay annual dues, provide availability to the NJILOA assignor and officiate a minimum of five games assigned by the NJILOA.
