NJILOA News:

NJILOA Year End Banquet - Please note that the date of this year’s banquet has been changed from Friday June 6th to Friday June 13th.  The cost is $35 per person, which includes beer, soda and a great buffet at the Pegasus Restaurant, at the Meadowlands Race Track. Checks should be sent to the NJILOA/PJ Calello, at 421 Bloomfield Avenue, Newark, NJ 07101. Click here to download our flyer which has all of the information.

NJILOA Clinic - This year’s clinic will be held on Sunday, March 2nd, St. Joseph’s HS, Metuchen, NJ. All officails who joined the NJILOA from 2004-2008 MUST attend the clinic.  Clinic hours are from 1:00pm-4:00pm, please arrive by 12:30pm.  The Official’s Corner will be on hand before and after the clinic to purchase all of your official’s gear.

NJILOA Assignor News - Schedules for the 2008 season will be posted the last week in February. Please continue to update and check your availability in the Arbiter during the season as games will be re-assigned based upon your availability.

2008 NJILOA Welcome Packages - Welcome packages have all been mailed out. If you have not received your 2008 Welcome Package, send an e-mail to our Secretary Treasurer, PJ Calello.

2008 NJILOA Annual Rules Exam - Once again the NJILOA has elected to use Exam Professor to administer our annual exam. Usernames and passwords were e-mailed to all officials on February 1st. All officials have also been registered to take a sample exam as well as the Annual Rules Exam.  If you have not received an e-mail with your username and password, please contact the NJILOA Exam Chairperson at test@njiloa.org.

A copy of this year’s exam has been posted to the NJILOA website. Please click on the Docs and Info tab on the left navigation bar to access the document.  You may want to print the exam, fill in you answers, then log into the website and take this exam.  This may eliminate issue users may have with their browser session timing out.

NFHS Rules vs. NCAA Rules - For those NJILOA members that officiate both high school and college lacrosse, we’ve posted the rule differences between NFHS (High School) and the NCAA (college) to our website. Click on the Docs and Info tab on the left navigation bar to access the documents outlining the those rule differences.

2008 NJILOA Meeting Dates - Meetings for the 2008 season will be held at six different regional locations throughout the state. Please click on the Meeting Info. tab on the left navigation bar to review the 2008 meeting dates and locations.
